This DQ sponsored seminar is presented by Jo French FCIS, new Director of Governance Qualifications at First Intuition.
Regulatory interest in assessing whether CSPs have a meaningful governance architecture in place, both domestically and internationally, has never been greater, in particular Moneyval's new emphasis on testing the "effectiveness" of systems and control.
This one hour session will assess the common causes of corporate failure and introduce strategies and practices to help manage the risk, not only to protect the CSP but also the individual officer, who is facing ever increasing personal liability.
The session will look at:
• What a good governance regime looks like – an overview of Governance architecture fundamentals
• Ensuring an effective Board and demonstrating Economic Substance
• Danger! Governance failures –past and recent case studies
There will also be an opportunity to meet Theresa Minnie from ICSA outreach.
