Mark McCormick (Capital International Bank) – Mark is currently Business Development Manager at Capital International Bank and has over 6 years of financial services experience, primarily in the banking industry. Mark graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2017 with an honours degree in Business and Management.
Paul Smith (Capital International Bank) – Paul has over 30 years’ of banking experience and is currently Head of Banking Products and Propositions at Capital International Bank. Prior to this, Paul served as Managing Director of Isle of Man Bank and Head of Shared Services and Payments. Paul started with RBSI in 1997 and was with them until 2017, with a short spell at Ulster Bank in the late 2000s.
Roxanne Sheeley (Affinity Group) – Roxy joined the Affinity Isle of Man team in September 2021 as an Associate Director after 12 years in the Corporate Services sector. She holds extensive experience in the administration of a wide portfolio of trusts and companies, with a focus on eGaming and compliance. From the outset Roxy flourished in her role and in September 2023, Roxy was appointed Managing Director for Affinity (Isle of Man) Limited. Roxy oversees the Isle of Man office and provides support to the team to maintain our excellent client service and drive career progression. Roxy also works with the Directors to strategically guide the company’s success. Roxy is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and International Compliance Association (ICA).
Kyle Brits (Suntera Digital) - Kyle started his professional career at a tax and commercial law firm in South Africa prior to moving to the Isle of Man in 2016 where he became involved in several entrepreneurial businesses honing his skills and becoming proficient across various sectors and jurisdictions. With early exposure to crypto activities around the sales of property, portfolio management, token issuance, tokenisation of real-world assets and similar concepts, he turned his professional focus and development toward blockchain and its application whilst undertaking roles such as consultant, project manager and operations manager within Crypto and Fintech start-ups.
Kyle currently holds the position of Head of Fintech and Crypto-assets at Suntera Digital overseeing all Crypto-asset touchpoints for Suntera Global internationally whilst providing consultancy and related services in the Isle of Man as well as Jersey and Guernsey. Kyle maintains a high degree of knowledge and understanding of the industry, its regulatory frameworks, and with his expertise is well placed to assist businesses, across the spectrum of conventional to highly innovative , with their operational, structuring and regulatory requirements. Kyle also often assists in applications to regulators and undertakes the role of regulatory liaison with his strong understanding of the operational requirements of these businesses and focus on AML/CFT compliance.
Kyle is a member of the ICA, an affiliate member of STEP, and an elected committee member of the STEP Digital Asset Global SIG where he provides operational and regulatory insight.
