This DQ sponsored free to members ACSP seminar is with Ros Lynch, Head of Supervisory Practices and Innovation Strategy, and Ron Dicks, Head of Fiduciary Services, at the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority.
This seminar covers the supervision and engagement restructure at the IOMFSA.
In terms of supervisory methodology, the IOMFSA's objective is to ensure that they have a consistent approach to the supervision of regulated entities based on the IOMFSA's assessment of the risk and impact of a firm and, where applicable, sector level.

Ros Lynch is Head of Supervisory Practices and Innovation Strategy at the IOMFSA. Ros joined the Authority in 2018 and her focus over the last five years has been on the development of the Authority's data systems and automation, as well as updating and enhancing the Authority's overall supervisory methodology. In 2021, the addition of Innovation to Ros' responsibilities reflects the continued importance of moving forward on the innovation agenda. Prior to joining the Authority, Ros worked for a number of Investment Firms and Stockbrokers and has held of senior risk and compliance/MLRO roles in both the Isle of Man and Ireland. Ros also worked at the Central Bank of Ireland, in the Securities and Markets Division.
Ron Dicks is Head of Fiduciaries at the IOMFSA. Ron has over 25 years international financial services experience working in the areas of fiduciary, pensions, investment banking and wealth management, including at the Board of Directors level. Ron worked more recently in the Isle of Man as a MD for a large corporate trust and service provider.
