Location: Upper Hall, Loch Promenade Church, Douglas.
Our DQ sponsored seminar on Wednesday 13th February 2019 is with Jean Dick and Paul de Weerd of the IOMFSA.
The talk will cover the FSA's themed supervisory visits to TCSPs which looked at non-monetary customer assets such as property, yachts & aircraft, and chattels. This seminar will cover the background to the visits and main findings, both in terms of good practice and areas where firms might be vulnerable. The current visit approach will also be outlined.
Jean Dick is the Senior Manager of the IOMFSA Fiduciary Services team, and before joining the Authority was a TCSP practitioner. Paul de Weerd was Jean's predecessor in the IOMFSA Fiduciary Services team. He now works at the IOMFSA on supervisory operational and policy matters.
