This DQ sponsored free to ACSP members seminar, with coffee and registration from 12 noon for a prompt 12.30 pm start to the presentation, will provide an introduction to the AML/CFT Policy Office – and will look at improving the effectiveness of the Isle of Man’s AML/CFT/CPF framework.
Non-ACSP members are very welcome at £25 per person.
Shannon Reid and Kate Simms will provide an overview of the following:
• The AML/CFT team and its role within the Island’s AML/CFT framework;
• The team’s priorities;
• What they are doing to improve effectiveness of the Island’s AML/CFT framework;
• How they can work with industry to achieve the above; and
• A brief overview of MONEYVAL and the MER process.
