This DQ sponsored seminar is with coffee and registration from 12 noon for a prompt 12.30 pm start. The speaker Steven Dallimore has over 20 years' experience in IT, working either as a consultant or directly in the finance industry. Imagine your company is 'a house'. Inside the house are people (your staff). The contents of the house are your client and business data. Your in-house or outsourced IT Team have put strong doors, locks and windows on the house to ensure it is safe from intruders. However, your staff are prone to leaving a window open, or allow strangers in by mistake. We will look at how you can understand what's outside and inside your business that poses a risk to your data, and how you can reduce, mitigate and respond to those risks.
