'MONEYVAL is a permanent monitoring body of the Council of Europe entrusted with the task of assessing compliance with the principal international standards to counter money laundering and the financing of terrorism and the effectiveness of their implementation, as well as with the task of making recommendations to national authorities in respect of necessary improvements to their systems'.
With the return of MONEYVAL, the pressure on any jurisdiction increases significantly. For regulators and license holders, it is essential that they are fully informed as to the requirements, prepared and ready, willing, and able to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements at local level and standards and expectations at international level. Complacency will be swiftly punished should any jurisdiction take the intrusion of an evaluation lightly, with the prospect of grey-listing being a very real risk.
During this interactive Forum you will hear from international experts who have real experience of the evaluation process and the outcomes that follow. By attending this Forum you will provide yourself, your firm and your jurisdiction a better chance of meeting the significant requirements that an evaluation places on all stakeholders.
This forum is suitable for all financial services professionals.
